A red-and-cream dithered version of the precinct from Ace Attorney. We see a central desk, and two aisles of desks leading up to it. A man works at the central desk, and another at a computer to the left.

Before you apply

Contributor applications are not yet open. If you're interested in applying, mind the following:

Your portfolio

You will be asked to submit a portfolio during your application. If you're applying as a writer, this portfolio will consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 works of fiction and/or nonfiction.

We are using Google Forms for contributor applications. Technical questions, such as what file type the submissions should be, will be specified on the form.

Portfolio submissions must not exceed 3500 words each. All submissions must be SFW.

At least 3 of the pieces you submit must be about Ace Attorney. Your submissions should be polished and reflect your best work. Excerpts from longer pieces are permitted, so long as they can be understood on their own. A nonfiction submission is not required, but is strongly encouraged. Meta posts are permitted if copy-pasted into a document and formatted as you would format a regular text submission.

The portfolio will allow us to gauge your areas of interest. Who do you like writing about? What cases? What spin do you put on characters and their relationships? How do you portray the world of Phoenix Wright?

Submissions will be evaluated on writing style, voice, and organization, as well as on their understanding of game canon.
